Money can be changed at the banks while there are some shops on Chaandhanee Magu offering this service as well.

There are a number of ATMs of Bank of Maldives and other banks located at key points of the capital. There is one State Bank of India ATM near the artificial beach and one near the ADK hospital, there is also one Bank of Maldives ATM near ADK Hospital as well as one near Olympus theatre located in Majeedhee Magu.
You can withdraw money at these ATMs using your credit or debit card.
